Brad Thomas is the CEO of Prophecy International, an award-winning Australian software company that provides solutions for cyber threat intelligence, security analytics, and customer experience intelligence. With over 20 years of strategy and leadership experience in the technology industry, he has a track record of growing revenue, profit, and staff engagement for software companies across multiple regions and markets.

As the CEO, Brad works closely with the Prophecy International board to develop and execute the organization’s vision, strategy, and goals. He also leads the sales, marketing, service delivery, and operations teams for its two brands, emite and Snare, and oversees global partnerships and channels.

He joined the organization in 2016 as the general manager of sales and marketing for emite and grew the business globally before being promoted to the CEO role. Brad is passionate about creating a culture of coaching, storytelling, and clarity in the organization, and is honored to be a member of the Forbes Technology Council and a recipient of the Medal of the Order of Australia.

Steve Challans

CISO of Prophecy International

Steve is the CISO of Prophecy International and is responsible for the organization’s security and supports the product teams with the roadmap of software security capabilities and market positioning. He collaborates closely with the Prophecy executive management team, communicates business risks to the board, and provides security awareness to the sales and product teams.

With over 37 years of experience in the IT field, including technical and senior IT roles in commercial organizations, Steve has been pivotal in assisting a variety of customers, from small businesses to large multinationals in sectors like banking, finance, e-commerce, manufacturing, transport, and government. His work involves not only audit and security aspects but also aligning Prophecy International’s product suite with the market’s security needs.

Passionate about Information Security, Steve has dedicated over 23 years to specializing in this field within senior roles for product and services organizations. His extensive experience also includes assisting companies in compliance with PCI DSS, ISO27001, and implementing SIEM logging and auditing solutions for effective forensic security and risk management.
